Saat Mutiara
Watch being carefully repaired

A different kind of watch repair experience

We built Saat Mutiara around a few firm convictions — about honesty, craft, and how a customer ought to feel when they hand over something they care about.

What you can expect from us

Patient, careful hands

We work at the pace the job needs, not the pace a queue demands.

Nothing hidden

Findings are shared before work begins. Costs are clear upfront. No surprises.

Transparent pricing

Three services, three prices — stated plainly on our website and confirmed before any work starts.

Your comfort sets the pace

You choose what happens to your watch. We advise and explain — but the decision is always yours.

Character preserved

We do not overpolish or oversell. A watch's marks and patina are part of its story.

Written service notes

Every job returns with a plain-language record of what was done — something to keep.

Trained hands on every service

Watch repair is a trade where shortcuts show. We take the time to understand each movement — quartz or mechanical — before touching it. Our team has worked across a range of calibres and case types, from everyday quartz to vintage mechanical pieces.

If something is outside our scope, we tell you clearly rather than attempt it anyway.

  • Quartz and mechanical movement service
  • Vintage and modern case refinishing
  • Water resistance verification
  • Movement regulation and timing check
  • Crystal inspection and assessment
  • Dry-air pressure testing equipment
  • Movement timing instrument
  • Ultrasonic parts cleaning
  • Period-appropriate lubricants

Proper tools, used properly

A watchmaker is only as reliable as the instruments they use. We maintain the equipment needed to test water resistance, measure movement accuracy, and clean components without damage.

We do not approximate. If a movement needs timed to a specific rate, we measure it. If a case is rated water-resistant, we verify it holds after service.

A calm, unhurried conversation

From the first enquiry to collection, we treat every interaction as a conversation rather than a transaction. You are welcome to ask questions, express uncertainty, or simply say you need time to decide.

We are not in the business of upselling. We recommend what we believe is right for the watch and leave the rest to you.

  • Pre-service consultation included
  • No obligation assessment discussions
  • Clear timeline expectations set upfront
  • Updates shared if anything unexpected arises

Saat Mutiara versus typical repair providers

This is not about ranking ourselves against others — it is about being clear on what we do and how it differs.

Pricing stated before work begins Sometimes

Features that are less common than they should be

Case-by-case approach

No two watches are treated identically. Each service is calibrated to the specific condition and history of the piece in front of us.

We will tell you to wait

If a watch does not need a service yet, we say so. We would rather lose a job today than recommend something unnecessary.

Findings first, work second

We inspect before we quote and quote before we act. The sequence matters — it keeps you in control.

Light touch on finishing

Sympathetic refinishing means stopping before the character of the piece is lost. We know where the line is and we respect it.
